From meeting Kim in high school, to joining up with her and Michael for their engagement photos on Belle Isle last year, to finally capturing their wedding day this year, it’s a blessing and an honor to journey along with people towards one of their most special days.

From the very first moment I arrived, I knew Becca and Jonah’s wedding day was going to be something special. I get to see so many different celebrations — from rustic Northern Michigan weddings to modern downtown Detroit days — but this one felt uniquely timeless. It was classy, subtly elegant, and just a little bit chic, the perfect reflection of Becca and Jonah themselves.

I first met Kaylee and Mitchell last summer during their Belle Isle engagement session, and right away I knew they were something special. They’re one of those couples who are just easy to be around — relaxed, joyful, and always laughing together. Their connection is so natural, and photographing them feels like hanging out with old friends. Their Packard Proving Grounds wedding this past July was every bit as fun, heartfelt, and full of personality as they are.
