There are some wedding days that just feel like pure Michigan — relaxed, outdoorsy, surrounded by water and woods, and full of good people. Lauren and Nick’s wedding day was exactly that and it's exactly the kind of day we love to photograph.

It all started with an inquiry from Kristen. The moment I read it, I knew I wanted in on this adventure. Matt and Kristen had this vision of an intimate celebration that was all about their family and friends and a day that just felt fun, which totally set the vibe for the whole day.
